Customizable RECCE IAR Upper. COMING SOON!

We have built many different combinations of our infamous RECCE IAR upper and we decided to make the most common upgrades available to our customers in a “Built your Own” Format!

The core RECCE IAR is retained. These uppers utilize Red Right Hand’s Block 4 .850″ Profile HBAR, these barrels are manufactured by Shaw Barrels to achieve perfect integration of our Heat Mitigation System. Our 14.5″ Block 4 is 4150 CMV Machine gun rated steel, chambered in 5.56Nato with a 1/7 Twist and These barrels have a Chrome-Lined chamber and bore. Customizable RECCE IARs uppers are complete with our Heat Mitigation System (Barrel Heat sinks and Gas Tube Heat Sink on DI Versions). In testing we have seen insane numbers of heat reduction. Our heat mitigation system effectively puts this upper  into the Auto-rifleman role without sacrificing accuracy or reliability of the system. Builders also have the option to equip the build with their choice of Riflespeed Gas Controls, RRH’s Non-Adjustable HTB, or Superlative Arms Short Stroke Piston. Our quality OEM Mil-spec parts are installed and your upper is still built with Gunsmith Level Assembly. Buyers can now choose from a few styles of Uppers, along with an array of Rail Systems that work with our Heat Mitigation System, which still allow full use of the mounting systems and keep the barrel free-floating for excellent accuracy. The RECCE IAR upper welds just like a classic Block II style upper due to the profile of the barrel and minimal weight addition of the HMS.

RECCE IAR Customized Order 2025 LEAD TIMES.  All Orders placed are Build to Order. Unlike our Standard RECCE IAR uppers that ship within a 4-8 week lead time, The nature of this level of customization, Customized RECCE IARs can have a 4-12 week lead time depending on parts/services selection. Overall, most parts will be sourced for your order in a timely manner. But variable lead time is to be expected with this order. We appreciate your patience and support of our small business!

Builder Note for Superlative Arms Piston Selection

When selecting the Short Stoke Piston as your operating system, DO NOT select any DI BCG Options as the Superlative Arms BCG Group is included in the Price. SA Bolt Carrier is completed with Red Right Hand’s OEM Milspec 9310 MPI Bolt, Cam pin, Firing pin and Retainer installed.

Please Note: Superlative Arms Piston Kits have been taking longer than normal for re-stock, Choosing the SA Piston Option may lead to an extended lead time dependent on when SA can supply us with more (We are a direct Dealer with SA). 

Builder Note for Gibbs Side Charger Selection

When choosing the Gibbz Side Charger upper, do not pick a charging handle as it is built into the Upper Receiver. We will install the Gibbz cam pin in your selected BCG, if you opt for a Stripped upper (no BCG) we will include their cam pin for you to install in your own BCG at home.

Builder Note Regarding Built in QD sling mounting on some rail options: Some QD’s may be too large to fit in the QD pocket and will contact the HMS. This is can be hit or miss depending on rail or qd manufacture. We recommend using a Magpul RSA QD mount for Pic rails for use on any Auto-rifle/LSW style build, this is still our preferred way to accomplish QD sling mounting. “Rail Clamp-style” Sling mounting will always be the strongest option in comparison to any “built in” QD accommodation.
